Responsible for the overall management of the company. Duties cut across project management, asset development, hospitality and people management. Through a continuous improvement process, he oversees  statutory compliance, achievement of greater efficiency, cost reduction, improvement of cashflow /profitability and increased capacity to cope with portfolio expansion.  Cyril is also responsible for funding relationships and strategic growth of the company.

Ph.D – Facilities Management

M.Sc – Construction Management

Pg.D – Property Valuation & Management

Summary of Experience

Cyril specialises in strategic management of portfolios, people management, establishing brand products or services, ensuring statutory compliance, leveraging limited resources for maximum gain. Cyril has approximately 30 years’ experience of dealing with various aspects of property and project management.

Initial experience on graduation was in Valuation of various residential and commercial properties for banks. This was followed by a short spell of supervising construction works as a Lands Manager, followed by management of high-rise residential blocks. Thereafter, Cyril worked for 8yrs at top management with Bruntwood Limited (a commercial property investment company in the NW of UK with portfolio worth circa £1 billion).  He was then head hunted to establish various departments at The Mansion Group. This included the Facilities Management, Project Management and Hospitality Management teams for the company to manage purpose-built student accommodation (just over 8000 beds) located across UK (this portfolio was sold to a Pension Fund for over £400m in 2016).

In just over 5yrs, Cyril has overseen the growth of the Interland Group portfolio from circa £160m to over £300m through strategic asset acquisition, redevelopment of offices to private residential use, lease restructuring, refinancing and various restructuring of people & processes.  The portfolio also includes a 4-star hotel in London and the development of a rapidly growing youth hostel brand (Via Hostels) in London as well as other parts of Europe.
